Profhilo Treatment
Profhilo Treatment
Profhilo is a stabilised injectable hyaluronic acid for the treatment of skin remodelling and laxity.
Profhilo is a highly concentrated hyaluronic acid product that provides overall facial rejuvenation to tighten and firm the skin. It does not plump or add volume like dermal filler, but instead restores the naturally occurring hyaluronic acid that has been lost with age. Profhilo is highly versatile and can be used to target several key concerns:
- Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and re-hydrates the skin
- Moisturise from the inside out
- Uses slow-release Hyaluronic Acid
- Stimulates the production of collagen and elastin
What does the treatment involve?
The treatment takes 15-20 minutes. Five injection points are placed on either side of the face to place the product which then diffuses into the skin and over the period of 4 weeks stimulates collagen and elastin production.
This leads to an overall improvement in skin appearance, boosting luminescence, and giving a hydrated look and feel to your complexion.
It’s designed for people with ageing skin that is lacking volume and elasticity. It significantly improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and helps to increase hydration and firmness across the face. It is also an excellent option for the early prevention of lines, wrinkles, and loss of volume.
How does Profhilo work?
To achieve optimal results, two initial treatments are required and should be carried out 4 weeks apart.
Once you have completed the course of treatment, you will continue to see further improvements for 4-6 weeks. At that point, you will see the maximal effect of the treatment on your skin.
To maintain these results, one treatment every 4 – 6 months will be required.
Repeat treatment every 6- 12 weeks
39 – 45 minutes.
Usual activates may resume.
None. However SPF is recommended due to skin being extra sensitive.
